The adjustable nozzle thumb screw controls the flow rate to the slinger plate, which allows adjustment for large material like corn or fertilizer and small material like seeds. An extra valve on the front of the hopper creates an additional opening to the spout. These two adjustments combined will allow the unit to be fine-tuned for precise applications.
